Chelsea v Liverpool - Chelsea beat Liverpol 3-1 away last week in the first leg of their Champions League fixture.
Liverpool have had their way with Chelsea this season, winning at Stamford Bridge and dominating the return fixture at home. However, both teams are clicking on all cylinders right now, and are playing their best football of the year. Chelsea have been reborn under Guus Hiddink and Liverpool have, suddenly, become the hottest team in Europe.
But Domestically, Liverpool are still definitely the stronger of the two after a convincing 4-0 weekend victory over Blackburn, whilst Chelsea threw away a four goal lead to end up defeating Bolton by only a single goal in their 4-3 win.
As well as the advantage of having Chelsea skipper and centre-back John Terry absent from the opposition line-up - means that Liverpool have a very good chance of posting a win on Tuesday night.

Watch Bayern Munich vs Barcelona Live Stream Online Free - Absolutely mouth watering football last wednesday night when Barcelona defeated Bayern Munich 4-0 at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona take a 4-0 advantage to Munich but are wary of Bayern's wounded pride when they face the Germans on Tuesday in their Champions League quarter-final return leg.
Manchester City defeated by Fulham 3 - 1
Posted by web master at 2:24 AMThe Whites created the first chance of the game after just two minutes of play. Clint Dempsey gained ground down the left flank before firing in an accurate pass from the flank to Zamora on the edge of the area. Zamora produced a deft step-over to set Johnson free on the 18-yard line but Dunne recovered to deflect Johnson's strike clear of goal.
Two minutes later a defensive error by Dunne allowed Zamora a clear strike on goal from 12 yards. City's captain failed to manage a ball into the area from Simon Davies and as the defender lost his footing Zamora capitalised and fired goalwards on the turn. Fortunately for the home side Shay Given was alert and reduced the angle to block the striker's effort.
Seconds later an Andy Johnson penalty appeal was turned down by Referee Mark Halsey after the striker tumbled under pressure from Dunne in the area. Moments later a cross from the left fell to Dempsey in the area but the US international lost his footing as he turned to strike.
Apart from one speculative long-range effort from Bojinov in the second minute of the game City failed to produce any opportunities during the first twenty-five minutes of the game. However against the run of play Stephen Ireland earned the home side the lead with a curling right-footed strike from 20 yards.
Ireland picked the ball up in midfield and as Fulham's defence retreated the midfielder went unchallenged for almost 30 yards before reaching the edge of the area and curling his effort past Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer.
Bojinov almost doubled City's lead before the break after latching onto a stray ball out of defence by Fulham. After collecting the ball 25 yards from goal the striker turned and smashed a thunderous drive just wide of Schwarzer's post. City went into the break with a goal advantage but it didn't take long at the start of the second half for Fulham to bring the game level and earn themselves a deserved equaliser.
The goal came after 49 minutes of play thanks to an accomplished finish by Clint Dempsey. Bobby Zamora chased a long ball into the area and as the striker tussled with Dunne the ball broke free to Dempsey on the 18-yard-line. The midfielder made no mistake with his strike, calmly stroking the ball past Given into the corner of the net. It was a superb finish by the American who then produced his trademark celebration in front of Fulham's travelling army of supporters.
Following Dempsey's goal Roy Hodgson's side visibly grew in confidence as they attacked City in waves. Mark Hughes looked to reverse to trend by revising his attacking options, introducing Evans for Bojinov. The change failed to invigorate City and seconds before the hour mark Dickson Etuhu smashed in a glorious right-footed effort from the edge of the area to give Fulham the lead.
Mark Hughes made a double substitution on 64 minutes. Petrov was replaced by Robinho on the left flank and Kelvin Etuhu made way for Sturridge who led the line alongside Evans in a revised 4-4-2 formation.
Robinho was handed his first sight of goal two minutes after his introduction but the Brazilian's low right-footed shot on goal was smothered by Schwarzer at the far post.
Despite City's revised attacking line-up it was Fulham who threatened to extend their lead with some fine build up play and Hangeland missed a glorious chance to put the result beyond doubt fifteen minutes from time. A free-kick from the left flank was whipped into City's area and Hangeland headed over from eight yards out.
As the game entered the final ten minutes Clint Dempsey scored his second goal of the game to give Fulham a three-one lead. The goal came from a quick counter attack. Zamora raced free from the half-way line in posession and as he reached the 18-yard line he played in Dempsey, overlapping on the left hand side of the area, with a perfectly weighted through ball. Dempsey produced another clinical finish, low to Given's left, to put the result beyond doubt and earn Fulham all three points.

Chelsea are also still in the hunt, but nearly threw away a four-goal lead at home to Bolton Wanderers, while Arsenal rallied to beat Wigan Athletic.
Alan Shearer gained his first point as Newcastle United manager, but his side remain in the relegation zone after a 1-1 draw at Stoke City.
Middlesbrough are not yet dead and buried after Gareth Southgate's side recorded a rare Premier League win over fellow strugglers Hull City.
West Bromwich Albion let a lead slip in drawing at Portsmouth, and Tottenham Hotspur closed on West Ham United in the race for a Europa League place.
Fresh from scoring an injury-time winner a week ago, Italian teenager Macheda was once again United's saviour as the leaders won 2-1 at spirited Sunderland.
Macheda climbed off the bench to turn home the winner with his first touch on 76 minutes to claim a priceless three points.
Nemanja Vidic almost provided United with the lead on 17 minutes, but the Serbian defender's header was cleared off the line by the covering Danny Collins.
United did make the breakthrough two minutes later when Wayne Rooney, playing on the left of midfield, clipped in a perfect cross which Paul Scholes glanced into the far corner.
Sunderland responded positively and almost levelled before half-time when Carlos Edwards' low cross was deflected on to his own post by Jonny Evans.
The Black Cats deservedly equalised 10 minutes into the second half when Kenwyne Jones stabbed home from close range after an initial poor header from Teemu Tainio's cross.
Sir Alex Ferguson threw on Macheda and got an immediate reward when the striker diverted Michael Carrick's wayward effort past Craig Gordon to deflate a Sunderland side who deserved a point.
Fernando Torres was in deadly form as Liverpool continued to boost their goal difference with an emphatic 4-0 victory over a limp Blackburn side at Anfield.
With Steven Gerrard starting on the bench, it was left to Torres to inspire the title chasers and he opened the scoring after just five minutes with a stunning volley after chesting Jamie Carragher's searching pass under control.
Rovers keeper Paul Robinson denied Javier Mascherano and Dirk Kuyt with smart stops, as Torres and Yossi Benayoun produced glaring misses from the rebound on each occasion.
Torres, though, did take advantage of slack defending to increase the lead on 33 minutes as he darted across the box to powerfully head home a free-kick from fellow Spaniard, Xabi Alonso.
Liverpool cruised through the second half against a Blackburn side devoid of an attacking threat, with centre-half Chris Samba pressed into action as a striker.
Daniel Agger smashed home a left-footed shot seven minutes from time before substitute David N'gog completed the scoring in injury-time as he nodded home from close range.

How will Liverpool respond? That's all anyone wants to know. Expect them to dominate possession, squander chances and concede a silly goal in a new addition to their ever-growing catalogue of Anfield frustrations.

United conceded a last gasp goal to draw 2-2 at home to Porto in the quarter-final first leg to leave themselves a tough task of making it through to the semi-finals.However, they are still riding high in the Barclays Premier League and victory would maintain their lead at the top, while denting fourth-from-bottom Sunderland's survival chances. Wanderers travel to stanford Bridge hoping to continue an impressive run of formon chelsea's home patch after denting the west london side's title challenge on the final day of last season with deserved draw.
Manchester United have it all to do to reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after being held 2-2 at home by Porto.
Posted by web master at 2:45 PMBut a minute from time, Porto substitute Mariano Gonzalez was left unmarked at the far post to give the 2004 winners a fine chance of dumping out the reigning champions.
Porto, who knocked out United in the last 16 five years ago, enjoyed a dream start on their return to Old Trafford when Cristian Rodriguez seized on a poor clearance from Jonny Evans to rifle a crisp shot past Edwin van der Sar after just four minutes.
United were level in the 15th minute when Wayne Rooney pounced on a dreadful back-pass from Bruno Alves to lift a shot over the exposed Helton.
The Red Devils had been poor for most of the first half, but improved after the break as they streamed forward in search of a winner.
The breakthrough came five minutes from time when Tevez reacted sharply to Rooney's flick from Gary Neville's throw-in to seemingly give United a vital advantage.
But the hosts reckoned without a plucky Porto fight-back as Lisandro Lopez's cross was helped on to the unmarked Gonzalez and he lifted the ball past the onrushing Van der Sar.
And to become the first team to successfully defend the Champions League, United must also become the first English team to win at Porto's Estadio do Dragao in the quarter-final second leg next Wednesday.

2008-2009 UEFA Champions League - Quarter-finals Matches
Posted by web master at 8:19 AMThe UEFA Champions League will resume on April 7, 2009 as the Quarter-finals get underway! After an tense Round of 16, only eight teams are left in the competition for Europe’s most prestigious club prize! For the second year in a row, all four English teams have advanced to the Quarter-finals, where they’ll be joined by Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Villarreal, and Porto!
In the Round of 16, the lottery gods gave us some great matchups between some of the greatest teams in European history, including several ties between teams that hadn’t played each other in a long time. If novelty was the name of the game in the previous round, then familiarity and revenge are the dominant themes in this round.
All four matchups boast some kind of vengeance factor, epitomized by the fifth consecutive meeting between Liverpool and Chelsea in the Champions League. Familiarity may breed contempt, but it can sometimes breed competitiveness as well. If that’s the case, then each of these Quarterfinal matchups should be an instant classic.
Defending champions Manchester United will look to shrug off their recent slump and avenge one of their most heartbreaking Champions League losses of all time when they face 2003-2004 champions Porto. Revenge will be another subplot as Villarreal will clash with Arsenal in a rematch of the 2005-2006 Semi-Finals. Additionally, Liverpool and Chelsea have battled each other so many times in the Champions League that both sides have a reason to be vengeful towards the other.
Revenge will also be a factor when Bayern Munich will take on Barcelona, even though the two traditional powerhouses haven’t met in the Champions League since the 1998-1999 season, when Bayern defeated Barcelona twice in the group stages. Those losses helped knock the Catalans out of the competition, which was especially painful since it cost them a chance of playing in the Final, which was held at the Nou Camp.
